International Summer School
Renmin International summer school lasts from early July to the end of July. A standard course is of 2 credits or 32 class hours (8 classes ×4 class hours per class). One class hour equals to 45 minutes. As scheduled by the university, one course could only be arranged every other day, which means, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday or every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 am to 11:30 am or from 14:00 pm to 17:30 pm.
Course procedure:
-In January every year, course application and assessment. Each school and faculty will send application with course discription, etc. which will then be assessed by the university summer school office.
-In March every year, contract signing with applicant.
-In April every year, students choosing courses. Please note that if the course is selected by less than 10 students, the course will be automatically cancelled even if it has been approved by the university.
-In May every year, procedures for teachers’ incoming trip to Renmin, including but not limited to invitation letters, visa, teaching assistant and accommodation.
