Chapter 1: Setting Sail

The evening officially began at 7 pm. Hang Fan performed the lively song A Smile Alluring the City, bringing back memories of the time shared by the graduates. The auditorium was filled with smiles and nostalgia.

After the opening song, Professor Ziqiang Xin, head of the Department of Psychology, had a conversation with the graduates. He encouraged the graduates in three key points: the spirit of Renmin University is extraordinary, the light of humanity is unstoppable, and life is long, so there’s no need to rush. He expressed his sincere blessings for the 2024 graduates.

Next, Xiaorui Wen and Ruibin Liu performed Better to Meet in Person, their beautiful singing evoking the students' feelings of anticipation for reunion.

Afterward, two alumni took the stage: Dongni Che, a 2014 master’s graduate of the School of Education, now Vice President of the Zhongguancun cultural and technological innovation industry promotion association and chairman of Beijing Dongni culture media Co., Ltd.; and Hongfei Wang, a 2013 undergraduate and 2019 master's graduate of the Department of Psychology, now serving as Party Secretary and counselor at the School of Labor and Human Resources.
