Renmin University of China Education Journal, established in March 2011, is a national-level, quarterly journal that is supervised by the Ministry of Education and hosted by Renmin University of China.

Renmin University of China Education Journal is a comprehensive academic journal that publishes: a) research papers and reports with important theoretical, policy, and practical implications; b) original reviews that provide solid retrospect, summary, and prospect of indigenous and international theories and research; and c) book reviews of educational classics and cutting-edge studies.

Renmin University of China Education Journal emphasizes academic rigor, theoretical insight, and policy relevance. It serves educational theorists, educational administrators, educators, and individuals from various sectors who are concerned with educational theory and policy issues, both domestically and internationally.

Insisting on the dual principles of continuity and flexibility, Renmin University of China Education Journal does not set fixed columns and arrange columns based on the topics and contents of included papers. Main columns included but not limited to educational laws and policies, educational economics and management, higher education, basic education, educational theory and history, etc.

Renmin University of China Education Journal uses the academic quality of papers as its sole standard for acceptance or reject decisions. It employs a three-review process and an anonymous peer review system. The journal does not charge any fees to authors and provides remuneration for accepted papers.
