Beijing Education Law Research Base - Renmin University of China Base

The Beijing Education Law Research Base at Renmin University of China was officially established in December 2017 through a collaborative effort between the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and Renmin University of China. The base is dedicated to conducting comprehensive, forward-looking, and practical research on significant issues and key areas in the construction of educational law in Beijing. It aims to serve the construction of educational law in Beijing and become an important consulting institution for this endeavor. Leveraging the educational law discipline resources and research team of the School of Education at Renmin University of China, the base strives to become a flagship research platform in the field of educational law research. The base is headed by Professor Shen Suping from the School of Education. The main functions of the base include: 1. Conducting research, drafting, and deliberation on educational legislation; 2. Conducting research, drafting, and deliberation on government regulations; 3. Conducting research, drafting, and deliberation on normative documents formulated by the Municipal Education Commission; 4. Conducting forward-looking research, deliberation, and consulting on major educational policies and special policy projects; 5. Organizing training on educational policies and regulations; 6. Undertaking tasks entrusted by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission.
